Second residential block for Cohort 1 Module 2
The purpose of the Future Leaders Program aims to build the fundamental leadership, governance and public policy skills required of PNG’s future leaders. The Program targets mid-level managers that are considered likely to be leaders in the future.
The Future Leaders Program will run for 9-10 months, with three sets of two-week residential learning blocks, complemented by time for self-reflection and practice through Workplace Application Projects.
The Program is built around the Ethics and Values-Based Executive Leadership and Management Capability Framework and the Gender Equity and Social Inclusion policy of the PNG Government.
It is delivered in collaboration with the University of Papua New Guinea, the Papua New Guinea Institute of Public Administration and the University of Queensland under the guidance of the Department of Personnel Management and the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology.
